i can totally relate.
people laughed at me becuase i didnt dress like an abercrombie clone at school, but i laughed at them because they all looked the same

What a world it would be if we were all the same! Do what you want, and don't worry about who laughs. Laugh back at them. Life is too short to worry about what others think of you. It took me forty years to learn this. What a boring boring world it would be if we were all alike.

Oh so very much. At 16 I decided that, I am who I am and if anyone did not accept that they could go jump off a bridge.
Plus, everyone these days are such clones. It is so nice to be in university where people are themselves and are unique.

Boy can I ever....you are so right. People are afraid of venturing out into the unknown, so automatically anything unfamiliar becomes a threat to them; so the insecurities flare up, and here comes the nervous laughter/giggles. However, what' s even moreso true is they don't like you....because they aren't you!!!...

OMG....I love that phrase. It's true. Everybody is so dam stupid trying to be all dark and suicidal lately and if not so surferish, conservative my mommy and daddy buy everything for me style or the rocker chicks that expose all their boobs with shirts that don't even fit them.
