sex hurts only some people, if you have problems generating enough lubrication (you can always buy some) or if it's your first time. also, some people aren't hurt by sex but they just don't get orgasms via vaginal sex... it's not anyone's fault, just the way bodies are designed. everyone's experience is personal.

I couldn't disagree more with the first person who posted their answer. For me, it only hurts for one or two seconds. And that's because it gets pushed in there. It can hurt if it gets pushed suddenly. For the person who said it only hurts the first time, that isn't true. It can hurt or not hurt the first time. It doesn't always hurt the first time. Sometimes it can hurt, other times not. It depends on how rough you are and how deep it is and if it gets pushed suddenly. But the people on the movies, I guess maybe they like it when it hurts, that they make it look good. I like it when it hurts, just as long as it doesn't hurt real bad or longer than a few seconds.

sex hurts the first few times normally (for girls anyway!), if it hurts much longer after that something may be wrong! Try using more lube. If you're on birth control, ask your doctor about possible side affects. I was on a certain birth control that thinned out my vaginal walls and that made sex uncomfortable for me. She gave me medication for it. but most of the time sex is very enjoyable!

(not like i have experience, but) Sex doesn't hurt all the time. Only for some first timers does it really hurt. After that, its smooth sailin lol.

It will only hurt the first few times because the vagina needs to be streched out in order for it to feel good.
p.s.try "o" they feel great.
so ive heard. I wouldn't know because im only 12 and my boyfriend of 3 years dosn't push me.

well it depends on what you are trying to mean by HURT...on a sexual level if you are experienced with sex it could be many problems for females.
some women have vaginal problems, for instance yeast infections, urinary tract infections which cause sex to be painful or yet another factor is STD's.
However, if you are not sexual and it was your first time maybe that is why.
