I thinks that Marijuana should be legal. I think it is crazy that you can drink and are just expected to stay in your home and not drive...so on. So why can't we smoke a joint and have the same rules?

Because people won't stay home and smoke...they'll smoke everywhere if it's legal. I think it'd be pretty damn stupid to legalize marijuana; it'd be like legalizing stupidity because that's what weed does...it makes you stupid. But it doesn't matter what I think; so to answer your question....people wouldn't stay home and smoke...they'd just break the law you're suggesting, and smoke and drive. And that's not good. Weed slows your reaction time.

why not i can think of a lot of things that are legal that are a lot worse. and why are people so against it. i smoke everyday and i have a nice home, a family, two decent jobs, and an education. i'm not stuiped, and i'm not some drug addicted manic. and for the record marijuana is mentally addictive, not physically so i doubt you'll see people begging for change, or mugging you to sustane there habit. and please name one person who you know thats died from getting hi and i'll find 100 names of people who died from tabacco, and alcohol.

We think the drug war is a true waste of time and resources for no apparent reason. The drug lords are the only ones happy that we keep it illegal. Remember Prohibition? That didn't work, either, did it? Legalize it TODAY

I say legalize it and then tax the hell out of it, just like with cigarettes and alcohol. That way, we have more tax money and lots of mellow people.

I don't hear of too many men beating up their woman while they're high. I think it's ridiculous to make illegal something that grows wild. We should decriminalize it instead and leave prison for real criminals.

the effect (i've heard) lasts a lot longer than beer and just check out holand it legalized it now it is a major exporter

ummm NO! drinking isn't legal for everyone, and it shouldn't become that way, i mean if we legalize something that is bad for us, then why legalize it? yes drinking is bad for us, but not everyone can do it, just don't do something that is bad for you? why would u wanna? i mean what has to be wrong w/ u to want to legalize something that can kill you?
