would i be able to put all my songs from iTunes on to an mp3 CD for later use?

see i want to do this because i want to save all my songs so i can erase my harddrive on my computer then buy an external harddrive and put all my songs on that, is this possible?

I believe you can. If you do this, you have to set up Itunes again and "authorize" your computer to your account. Then when you put your music back on they will work. (THe Music is athorized to your account)
