Although Joan of Arc is tempting, I would say a veggie dinner with the Dalai Lama because of his mastery of practical knowledge of how the world could be a better place.

Close one between Joan of Arc and the Dalai Lama, but I'd go with the Dalai Lama. I am Catholic, so much of what Joan of Arc beleived and stood for is already part of my experience. I am woefully ignorant of Eastern religions, and no figure is more intriguing than the Dalai Lama for his peaceful and calm nature.
Besides, Blackbeard and Alexander probablly have lousy table manners.....

This maybe a bad choice for most, but I would have dinner with Black Beard, because I have always had a fascination with pirates, and it's quite fashionable at the present.

I'm going with Blackbeard.
He'd bring grog and wenches, and i don't think we'd be up all night debating the mysteries of the universe or planning the conquest of Persia or hearing voices inside our heads. We'd just have a piratey good time, Matey!
Arrrr!!!!!
