I was just curious what everyone thought about these jokes.

I found much of the film quite funny, but...I'm not sure that the point of it was to make the audience laugh. I think the filmmakers had something a bit more serious in mind. Essentially, I think they were trying to say something about what comedy IS and what we find funny in general. And, beyond that, I think it was about a sort of "Rite of Passage" for comedians. In some way, the very telling of THAT joke was sort of a test that they all had to pass...who would dare to tell the craziest, raunchiest version...???

I honestly hated the film. By the end of it, I just felt numb...While the joke is offensive (that was the point), I just didn't need an entire film wrapped around it. I've always thought I was open-minded, but I just didn't find it funny.
