Okay I have a question, my last period started from June 13th-19th. I was ovulating and my hub and I made love, henced conceived the baby on June 25th. Now it is July 17th. I already took two pregnancy tests last week on Tuesday and Friday, and both were positive. I still dont have me period yet so i can know for sure i am pregnant now! Also i have been getting more bloating/indigestion and sometimes during the afternoon or before bedtime I feel some nausea. I have not been throwing up. I feel nauseous slightly but some ginger tea and tasting a lemon, really help me. I am more wanting to ask how many weeks am I really? and then do any of you have the bloating/indigestion feeling? I can take Tums at night as that helps me also.

how is it that i don't think back to 25th when I did conceive, cause knowing that date, I am only going into my 4 weeks now. Otherwise I am like 6 weeks if i have to count my last period date, even when my embryo/baby wasnt even developed yet??

You calculate it from your the first day of your last menstrual period. The first 2 weeks of a pregnancy your're not actually pregnant. So you are 5 weeks pregnant tomorrow. Congrats!!

It's calculated from the start date of your last menstral cycle. I had mine on May 1st and got pregnant in the middle of May. I am not 11 weeks pregnant (9 weeks after conception). I started not feeling well with this pregnancy around 4 weeks..sore breasts, heart burn, nausea, constipation etc. I take tums to help with heartburn and my stomach in general. I'm 11 weeks now so my symptoms have subsided except for the heartburn and bloating. Good luck with everything!!

pregnancy is calculated from the first date of your last cycle. Most women ovulate 14 days after their period has ended. going by the dates you gave you should be 5 going on 6 weeks. Date of conception is usually the 15th or 16th day after cycle since the egg only lives for 24 to 48 hours after ovulation. good luck

I believe the pregnancy wheel uses the date of your last period taking into account ovulation on day 14 (so since you know the date of you last period, that's the "start date" but the due date assumes a day 14 ovulation.) So kind of both...

You calculate from the date your last period started. To get your due date you subtract 3 months and add 7 to the date:

Date of last period June 13th
Due date: March 20th

Good Luck!

via fact the physician does not understand precisely while each guy or woman conceived and you probably did no longer fall pregnant in the previous your era, so it is going to likely be sometime after the era finished. the only provide you the LMP date for a jiffy until eventually you get an ultrasound.

Pregnancy is calculated from the LMP(last menstrual period). One never knows exactly when you were ovulating or when you may have conceived.

If you notice on a pregnancy wheel it actually states that your calculating by date of conception. Take a look at one when you go to an ob gyn

I think you count from the date of your last menstrual cycle - seems weird to me too. But I'm not positive about that - you can probably do some research on webmd.com or talk to your doctor.
