spurs, although I like nash and the suns more.

San Antonio. Remember, Duncan was playing with messed up feet all year and still lead his squad to game 7 against the eventual runner ups this year. Ginobili was a no show all year basically (plus injuries) and you honestly can't expect Mr. Eva Longoria to carry a team to a playoff series win.
But what does make the Spurs better than the Suns when their roster's healthy and clicking is the fact that they can play the game any way you want it and still beat you at your own pace. That's what makes them a really difficult team to beat year after year.
(Now that I've said that, I bet Amare goes off in the playoffs and dismantles the Spurs for 45 and 20 a game, en route to a series win...)

The Spurs. The Suns are awfully talented and exciting and can score like non other, but they don't play defense, which is something I blame on having D'Antoni as a coach. They have some great individual defenders, but D'Antoni doesn't coach defense, so they're undisciplined as a team in that regard.
The Spurs are more balanced and much better at both ends of the court. Moreover, they are way too disciplined for the Suns.

Right now it's the Spurs, but the Suns are catching up every year
I still believe that San Antonio stalked up on far too many veterans and one day they're just gonna be drop dead old and everyone is gonna retire. And if it's not that, injuries are gonna set in
Ginobili was quite the 57th pick, but things are looking down for him now

This moment in time? Spurs. Unless Stoudamire can match Duncan, then I'd say Suns. Time will tell next season but hopefully the Suns will be in the Final in '07.

SPURS. While Tim Duncn is getting old I would still put him in the top in the NBA. Plus Ginobili is awesome, Bowen is the best defender in the league, and Tony Parker is a top 5 PG. The Suns have Steve Nash is arguably the best player in the NBA, plus Amare Stadamarie (we don't know how he's gonna be when he gets back from his knee injury) and thats about it. Dont even try to tell me Bell is All-NBA caliber.

suns without a doubt. the only thing that kept them from the championship was the absence of amare stoudamire. if he were there they would have gone to the championships and might have won. spurs are a good team but not better than the suns.
