I have 4 sisters and 1 daughter. I have never heard of getting a sharp pain in a crotch to indicate a period getting ready to start. If she keeps this up. Take her to her pediatrician. In this day and age full of perverts, you never know what is going on.

Most pains are not normal but a symptom that something is wrong, for example a headache may be caused from stress, allergies, dehydration. It may not be serious but it is your body's way of saying something is wrong. If you have health insurance call your daughters Doctor and tell him/her your daughters complaints, s/he may want to see her. If you don't have insurance call a help desk, or nurses station and do the same thing, they may have advice for you. At the very least just talk to a professional.

Well if she said that to me I'd have her to the hospital before she finished the sentence.

Little pains can be due to big problems, and vice-versa.
