Insecurities are excuses used to do or not do something. By forcing those insecurities on others people are justified in having those insecurities and feeding them.

Example only Like a person whom is over wait and tells another person over weight that they can wear an outfit. By tell that other person not to wear an outfit they are justified in their own my with their own inability to wear the outfit.

When someone is insecure, it impacts their whole world view, just as confidence impacts ones world view. People generally feel that everyone looks at things the same way they do, therefore they tend to project their insecurities/fears onto those with whom they interact.

Bottom line, they can't help it. That's why they do it.
