Not I!! I'm 13 and when I'm not on the computer, which is most of the day, I'm swimming laps, playing my bass, or doing crap around the house for my parents! Kids who live like that, sitting around and being lazy, need a good smack up side the head! Teehee

I do think you are right to a certain extent. They are not all like that. I have a 15 year old son who works full time at the community college so he can save up for college! He is a straight A student who puts school and his grades on top of everything else! BUT I have seen alot of them who dont really care about much at all. But if I recall being a teen ager- werent we that way too???? Just a little????

Well, maybe the main factor you must look at is in their Genes. Not their Levi's. Some that dont take care of their bodies is linked to genetics and from the family line. However, it can be due to Parents not disciplining their eating habits. Some parents are too lazy to get on to their children and teens for eating something that will affect them later in life.

Look at how they are raised. Kids today have no morals or values. They have no idea about the concept of money and most of them have don't even know the first thing about being polite. I am a parent and I am doing everything I can to raise my child to be successful, polite and overall well balanced.

If you are a parent raise your children the opposite of the way they are raised today. Teach them something about the world. We can't guarantee that they will be perfect(as no one is) but at least you know you put your all into it and raised them to the best of your ability.

hmm.. depends, i'm a youth of today and I have plans for myself I'm not one to be like lets go to McDonalds guys, I'm 18 and I can't wait to get that first chance to hold that ballot that's going to be an amazing experience for me, to know that my vote may just influence a change in our nation as we know it. I have causes that I stand up for, I hold political views and have strong and justified opinions to which I can explain with out throwing a fit or having a temper tantrum. I thin that you are ill informed in your reasoning i feel horrible for those who are ready to head out into the world and make their mark in this place are placed in a vast majority of people who haven't realized that they can make a difference in the world.

People stereotyping use like you just did. Always being look down upon like we are just the worst thing in the world instead of some body giving us guidance and direction.
