Your best bet is to take some theater courses at a small college, and audition for plays there. You would have better luck with some college experience under your belt. The theater professors would have a good idea of what's going on in your area.

DON"T PAY MONEY TO HAVE THEM REPRESENT YOU!!!! They get a portion of your pay after you get a job through them. Never pay a fee.
