Is moral relativism ruining this country?
It seems to have started in the 1960's with their great "free love" experiment. What a dismal failure all it got them was disease, sorrow and unwanted pregnancy.

you're absolutely right! there were NO venereal diseases before 1960. aren't you clever? because that is what you imply when you say "it" (moral relativism) seems to have started in the 60s and resulted in a,b and c. if moral relativism is responsible for them, they should not have been so prevalent before. your theory is terminally flawed. you should apologize to all of us; we are all dumber now having read it. you have offered no evidence for any of your claims, because it only exists in the parallel universe of your mind. why didn't you leave this question thereand no one was ever pregnant! people grew babies in fields from potato plants. that's why we needed slaves!

Actually, I agree with the respondent! Your question was poorly stated....instead of asking it in a neutral , unbiased manner.....the slant you put on it was YOU answering the question yourself....for yourself. You seem to be the kind of person who speaks only because you like the sound of your own voice. That is how the "question" came out, It was a poorly disguised statement (an erroneous statement at that) pretending to be a question. Please know more about what you are discussing before you start "asking"....you only make yourself seem foolish and uneducated.

You are absolutely correct. Morality began it's slide, to today's level with the era of "BURNING THE BRAS".
We did not have school shootings. We didn't have the high rate of divorce as we do today. We didn't have homo atheists attacking the AMERICAN CULTURE. And yes, we didn't have the high rate of STDs.
All the decline in morality can be directly attributed to the LIBERAL FAILED SOCIAL EXPERIMENTS....one after another, resulting in our FAILED PUBLIC SCHOOLS, DIVORCE, STDs.
