I've been waiting since August 2005 for a $50 rebate on a computer. Called customer earlier this year and again recently. Still no check. Wondering has anybody else experienced this on a Circuit City purchase? Or did you get paid?

We have purchased 2 items from Circuit City in the last year with no problems with the rebates. Go to the store where you made the purchase and talk to the manager. He can help you find out what is going on.

I got the check. A video card purchased from them had two rebates. The Circuit City rebate arrived quickly (two weeks) and much sooner than the manufacture's. Most take forever unfortunately and you must hound them if you can't resubmit the paperwork. Always make copies before you send it in.

Most rebates come from the manufacturer. Go to the store manager and complain and make a scene when you do. They have the power satisfy their customers.

It took about 6 months for a stereo rebate, but close to a year is too long.

Nope, Don't expect it either, take a lesson from those "Rebate" adverts, it is a scam that they can get away with.
I do not buy ANYTHING from any store that tries to pass of a "rebate" as an actual discount.

It takes like 12 to 15 weeks! from the date of expiration! But little chance it could gotten lost in the mail! its not uncommen!
