It is too hot at the moment! Why can't we have an upper limit on the temperature before we have to go home? There is a lower limit after all!

I can't understand why people are saying we have "bad weather" in th UK. We don't get tornados (those mini-twisters don't count), we don't get hurricanes (well apart from that one we had about 10 years ago!), we don't get monsoons, or regular 100F+ heat. So why all the complaining? I like it here!

In answer to the main question, it's called making small talk. I'd rather talk to someone about the weather than sit in an uncomfortable silence.

Well I am English and I dont know of many people that talk about the weather in that way, I think you may need to get out more and stop playing on your playstation all the time

It's far too hot to answer with any real degree of clarity.
Maybe it is because we don't have an overwhelming amount of cheap fast food restaurants to gorge ourselves in? Therefore, having to converse with others. Eventually we run out of conversation and complain about the weather!!

We don't.The TV and newspapers do by saying it's hotter than
somewhere else, like they blow up etc etc.If you check our yearly
weather records you'd find we are are better off with our climate
than over 3 quarters of the world.
Rainy England is a myth
