I have good work ethics and I see people at work that will snitch on anybody for anything. I don't understand their motivation, because they have to realize that it puts themselves under the microscope. One wrong move and somebodies going to get back at them.

You see, it does not put them under the microscope. Nobody will ever get back at them. They are the ones who succeed! And the problem is, generally, they are not snitching. They are lying or stretching the truth.

Many people on the job feel that it makes them look good to the boss if they snitch on others. Usually the boss knows what's going on, and the snitches usually get what's coming to them.

I hate them. I have a few in the office and he is dumb i swear but he thinks that he is the bosses best friend but all the boss is doing is using him. So its funny in the llong run cuz he looks stupid all that work for nothing lmao

What if the "snitch" is reporting on a major embezzler or someone who is committing a crime at work? I'm not talking about stealing pencils, but big time theft? Just wondering what threshold you're talking about. :-)

I think they need to get a life. We had quite a few at my old job (usually old women in my experience). Its really bad for office morale.

The best thing to do is to NOT trust them. Don't talk to them about the other workers, or about your boss or about anything that they can use against you.
