Do You Think Having Sex In the Same House As kids are Right?

I think everyone has sex with kids in the house, otherwise how would people get more than one kid? Obviously it should be done behind closed doors and when they are sleeping but its ridiculous to think people will stop having sex just because there is a kid in the house.

Sex is a natural physical act. I don't think the kids should be aware of their parent's sex lives, but yes it must go on in the same house in order for the marriage or relationship to survive. I think there is a time and place for everything, especially in this department after the kids are born. It takes some ingenuity and timing, but it's more than possible to have an active and fullfulling sex life with children under the same roof.

How old are the kids?
How discreet is the act?

A pre-christian Roman would have said "yes, right in front of them".
A Spartan soldier would have said "no, I'm too busy nailing my fellow soldier".
A bible-toting protestant would likely say "only for reproductive purposes, and then only in shame and secret".
A couple with 8 kids would say "how do you think we got 8 kids?"

In the US, a good approach is to conform to the wishes/culture of whoever's roof you reside under. If the house owner is an orthodox catholic bishop, I'd say keep it holstered. If the house owner is a porn star, I'd say anything goes. If the house owner is you, I'd say follow whatever guidelines you and your partner(s) find mutually reasonable and not forbidden by law.

If you're just a kid grossed out by your parents knocking boots, I'd say get over it. (They are definitely not going to stop just because you ask/complain.)

Well, that's how you got the kids in the first place, right? By having sex. I've always wished we could just bud them off our arms like plants but whatever. I think as long as you lock the door and try to keep it down, it shouldn't matter that the kids are home.

It's fine because sex is a natural act. If you raise the child to think that sex is dirty then they will either be totally frigid or become a total sl*t. When are you supposed to have sex when you have a young child that is always at your home? Are you just supposed to do without for the next few years?

Exactly where else are you going to go? Rent a hotel room everytime you want to do it? That could get expensive! Why doesn't it show respect? Sex is natural and there is NOTHING wrong with having sex. Let me repeat that again - sex is not dirty and sinful. There is nothing wrong with sex.

I think it's fine as long as the kids don't view the act.

My reasoning is that sex helps to hold the relationship together, which in the end is best for the kid.

Do you think that when parents have children they stop having sex no i don't think so they just have more children and do you think they go to a motel to have i don't think so maybe i Miss understood your question. No they should have sex in front of there children I know you don't want to think about your parent having sex but unless they are dead or divorced they are and if they divorced probably because they stop.

Well the kids wouldn't be there if you hadn't had sex in the first place. But really, just send them to their friend's house or maybe get a babysitter they can go to. Good luck!
