Just curious, I know some things about Syd, but just curious if anyone had anything interesting to add.

Syd was the "Crazy Diamond" but would Pink Floyd be where they are today without him? I think not. He was a genius.

I heard about it and sorry to hear it happened. Barrett was a phenomenal guitarist and it is unfortubate he literally got into psychedlic music. His antics onstage are legendary but it would be his downfall as part of Pink Floyd. I understand why Waters and Gilmore gave him his walking papers.

i din't know syd barret was dead all i know is that he was part off pink floyd untill he had a kurt kobain thing and went insane and his best song is 'echos"

I don't know anything about his death but I do know that it's sad he was a legend and a classic that you don't find these days !!
