I have worked at my job for nearly a year now and I have thrown up at my office at least 8x now. I asked the building manager if anyone else in the buliding was getting sick and she said no. I asked if the buliding had mold and she said no. At work our windows dont open and outside its been over 95 degrees. My boss likes the temp inside to be alomost 80 and I always set it at 70. During the day we play tug with the temperture. Up and down it goes all day long. I usually throw-up 30 mins to 1 hour after lunch and I feel so much better afterwards. What do you think could be the problem? It worries me because this is not normal.

Did this happen at all before you began working at this office? NEVER
Do you ever throw up at home or other non-work places? NEVER

I think a good idea would be to try to think back to when this began.....and then try to eliminate all possible causes you can think of. Things like what you ate, who you were with, weather outside, what you were doing at work (anything really stressful?), any possible contributing factors from your outside life.
Have you asked anybody *other* than the building manager if anybody else was getting sick in her building? She might have reasons to hide something if it could come back and bite her in the domesticated donkey. Could you ask other co-workers? And maybe people who work in other offices in the same building?
Is there any history of such illness in your family?
Any chance you might have ulcers, ileitis/Crohn's Disease, or any other kind of gastric condition?
I do hope you will see a physician if you can.....because this doesn't sound like something you want to go untreated.
Please find out, won't you?
EDIT: I am not American, so i am not sure about these things.....but do you think of you contacted "OSHA" (if that is the proper agency) they might be able to confirm or deny any concerns you might have about the building? Or maybe investigate this, if you can maintain your anonymity?
Any chance it could be sound or vision related? I know that a fluorescent light that is starting to fail can make me feel sick. Or maybe odour related? Or allergies? I have found that i am becoming more environmentally sensitive as i get older.....so maybe that is something to think about.

The closest I can come to helping out was once when I worked in a hugely stresful environment. Stress, either from dislike of work, the pressure to get it done, or having a boss (bosses) whom you can not reconcile with can cause all sorts of digestive issues. I even had to have a colonoscopy done! If you are not under stress, it could be any number of things that you may be allergic to, such as window caulking, carpet adhesive, or something else in the air of the building. Check with an allergist to see what you are sensitive to, and they may be able to help. Since it happens after eating, it may be a combination of food in your system with something released into the air from somewhere else in the building. (Say, if there were a Chinese restaraunt on the ground floor, and they drained their grease at that time on certain days.)

Definitely not normal... I would talk to you doctor. And get a fan and use it a lot.. If your office is older it might have asbestos or mold that your boss doesn't know about or doesn't want to let you know about.
It's not worth risking your health

This is just my opinion, but it sounds like there is a lot of stress at your work place. Sometimes we are under stress and do not even realize it. Stop and evaluate your feelings, this could be the problem. Good luck, and take care of yourself! LOL
