Windows XP has everything you need built in. Command-line scripts such as ipconfig, ping, tracert, etc. can verify TCP/IP settings, DNS, DHCP... just about everything. There's nothing you need to know you can't find in Windows itself.

Usually there is network cheking software by laptop cd included u can use it
but u can use windows commands or DL really useful tools on the net
