Why are people so judgmental?

Everytime I go to the mall. Every girl that I walk past HAS to look at me like go away skank. Especially if they're with their bfs. It makes me soooooo MAD!!!!

It's an unfortunate part of human nature that many people feel a need within themselves to feel superior to others. Perhaps it comes from insecurity within themselves, or perhaps it is because they feel that "Attitude" puts them at an advantage over others; when in fact it only alienates others. We see that a lot in the totally mean-spirited city of Los Angeles! In reality, no-one is any better or any worse off than anyone else, at least on an inner, spiritual level. So don't let people like that upset you. If you cannot ignore their rude behavior, then silently send them thoughts of peace and love and go your own way.

Insecure individuals feel threatened even when the threat is non existent.

Take it as a compliment. You are outstanding and they hate the competition. Even though you are not competing they know if you chose to the threat is there.

Nobody knows what is in your heart, but the insecure assume the worst case scenarios. Feel sorry for them as that is no way to live.

Do not take it to heart please and continue on your way with the knowledge that you do not suffer anxiety attack, anytime an independent woman comes in view of their property.

Are you not judging the judgemental?-- I think, too, people can be ignorant, but I don't think it's taste, or judgement that's to blame. That's the ignorance is bliss cop-out.

It isn't.
We can't live in that world, as a dog or a sheep, without a history.

You have to demonstrate WHY they're lacking perspective.
That takes another level of judgement.

It's rarely in our power to make others act in a way we think is best. But you DO have control over how YOU conduct yourself. There's a reason why the Ethic of Reciprocity (Golden Rule) is respected by so many different cultures. It is a wise precept. Treat others as you would like to be treated, and hope that others see the wisdom in it and follow suit.

they are just jealous because you look so good. and the other girl knows her bf is wondering about you. It just a way people deal with it. They try to make them look better, and deep down they know you are better.

People are inherantly judgmental because we have ingrained in us the craving to catagorize that which is around us, to make it formiliar, and to remember it as this or that kind of thing. You will always judge what is around you, you have to to make any kind of plan.
