I think it is the unknown and that is why we watch sports and reality TV.
We can pick favorites and cheer or we can pick who we don't like and boo and wish they would lose!

I like your opening statement. It's concise and to the point. I also agree that sporting is the originator because it's not scripted. I don't think shows like Real World, The Amazing Race, Celebrity Fit Club, or even American Idol have scripts. The individuals response is off-the-cuff so to speak. The exciting part is not knowing what will be said or done next. And in my opinion, Survivor is the best because it's out in the wilderness, you have so many elements to deal with. 40 days living with people you don't know, having to work as a team, and learning to trust them. By the end of the first week, they've already lied to you if not voted you off because your personality clashed with the group. Then you have unpredictable weather that you are not prepared for. On top of that, you have wild animals and insects. How about eating and sleeping arrangements? It's an awesome show because you see how to deal with other people in situations that are out of your control. A lot of the times, I compare it to my work environment. Very stressful, lots of backstabbing, and unpredictable.

People watching reality TV often think that they are actually watching an unscripted show, where real people are saying whatever they want. Where in reality the editors and hosts of reality tv shows lead and create the show.
I like your opening statement... although sports are rarely cut and modified. (By the way you could work in the "parts of this show not effecting the outcome, have been edited) it starts off both sports shows and reality shows

interesting???? not a word i would use to describe reality TV.
reality TV shows (such as big brother, wife swaping, and "i need a new screw" island) are cheap tv programs that save television stations a fortune.....but the down side is when they finally become boring and people stop watching them, the tv stations will have very little re-run programs to use during TV "downtime". unlike re-runs of classic sit-coms and soaps, reality TV isnt fun the second time around.....i believe TV designed these programs to compete with radio. Radio is percieved to be live and allows the listener to be involved in thier segments, where as TV has always been untouchable and not as inviting to its audience, by inventing "reality" programs with phone in poll's and average people, they created a stronger relationship with their audience.
all i can say is, I HOPE IT ENDS SOON! bring back creative writers and great story lines.

ok let's address the first question. What makes reality television exciting? because the shows are about actual those with actual issues that could help individuals relate to them better. compared to actors that are taking area in parts that ought to or received't reflect absolutely everyone's existence or issues. My fashionable reality television tutor is "starting up Over". it truly is about actual human beings and their each day struggles they face of their lives no matter if it is personal struggles or monetary struggles or what no longer. the those who watch this tutor can relate to the individuals in this tutor and may benefit knowledge and information a thanks to wrestle the topic matters that they face of their lives. As on your evaluation to carrying activities and activities originators and innovators to reality television is complicated to me. except you're taking it from this stand element, that the coaches of each and every crew can talk about and help the gamers play better together in the journey that they are given the proper equipment to attraction to close a thanks to address the particular circumstances? i don't understand it truly is a not basic evaluation. good success to you and that i desire you properly including your speech.

I think that the most interesting thing about reality tv are the people that watch it.... I like saying to them, "Live your own life and goals, watching other peoples acheivements seems quiet pointless"...
