Learn more about caring for bettas before you start trying to breed them.
Breeding bettas is a complicated, exact process. You need to put them in sight of each other, and the male starts building a bubble nest, and blah blah blah. When you see the female swollen with eggs, then you put the female with the male and they fertilize them. Then you take out the female immediately, or else the male will attack her in defense of the eggs. The male will take care of the fry (putting them back in the bubble nest when they fall out). You need to feed the fry special food and yadda yadda. And when they're old enough to tell which sex they are, all the males need to be put in seperate tanks.
The whole ordeal is just complicated. If you want to breed fish, start with an easy livebearing fish, like mollies. I'll be convinced that you truly understand proper betta care when you can spell 'betta' correctly.

Keep in mind that breeding bettas is a bit of an art, and very rough on the bettas. Also bettas can spawn hundreds of off spring like live-bears like guppies, and mollies. If you are really interested given the above you'll need to do a lot of reading.

put them together if they don't fight you are ok let them mate then remove the female the male will do the rest. about a week or two after the Fry hatch you will need to buy Fry food they sell it at the pet shop. If the male and female do fight you can purchase a divider for the tank so they can see each other but not interact they will become used to each other after about one month then you can put them together and let them do what needs to be done. :)

its no longer a sturdy ideah, any betta that can see yet another betta in a replicate, in a adjacent tank, or with the aid of a sparkling partition would be under pressure and in protection/attack mode. under pressure fish do no longer stay long
