I am 33. Ran the Berlin marthon twice 2001 and 2002. I was fit then. I did not run for about 3 years now and am getting started again. Boy, do I feel old. I ran 10 K with a friend the other day: My pulse pounding around 180/min when trying to work myself up a hill. In the end we finished around 50 min. My halfmarathon time from the 2002 was 1:47 hr. Tell me that there is hope, what are your experiences?

I'm 47, I feel like I'm 16. I have never been "athletic" really and have been heavy most of my life.Past few years I changed the way I live. I eat differently, I lost over 50 pounds, and I can walk between Baltimore City and Towson Maryland(don't ask me how long it is0_0.) Since you were a runner, if you really want to get back into it, you got ease back into training, and be commited to it;). I think you will probly have to hire a "coach" to help you.
