i'm going to be doing the same thing!

that site can help you sign up for SATS, search colleges you might want to apply for, and give you all the info on them! once you've picked one or two you think you might like, go down to your guidence couclor (assuming you're in high school) and they should be able to help you out with the process.
to get started--you may want to be ready with a couple letters of recommendation (usually teachers and bosses work great--but for teachers, you may want to ask them ASAP so you get to them before all of the other students). also, get a running list of volunteer experience, school clubs, jobs, sports, and anything else that may look good on a college application / resume
besides that, the college will provide information on what else they'll be looking for.
good luck--i know this seems super overwhelming, but it'll be worth the work!

The first thing you should figure out is where you want to go. After you've narrowed the list of schools down you should look into the requirements of each university and make sure you do/can meet them. For example, there is usually coursework and GPA requirements for universities, regardless of whether you are coming straight out of high school or from a junior college. Most universities now prefer online applications so make sure that you visit their websites, also their websites can be really helpful in walking you through the application process. You need to order transcripts to from your current school to be sent to the universities you are applying to, make sure that you have the correct addresses. Your counselor at your school can help you, but if you have specific questions about a certain university you should call their admissions office (you can usually find that number online).

Well, the first step is to figure out your goals. Do you have an idea of what type of job or career interests you? If you do, find out what type of education is needed to enter that career. Does that career require obtaining a diploma/certificate (two years or less), a two-year degree (associates), a four-year degree (bachelors), or a graduate degree (post bachelors)? What do you need to study in school to obtain that type of job? Also, does that career require licensing/certification and what is required to qualify for licensing/certification? After answering these questions, then you need to find a school that will accept you, that also either offers the career program you wish to study, or else where you can begin your general education and then transfer to another school that offers that career path. Are you undecided on a career path but know that you want to go to college? In that case, you want to look for a college that will accept you. A good place to start would be a community college.

Go ask your counselor for help. That is what they are there for, to help get you into college.
1. Go to their websites. Most schools have online applications.
2. Ask your counselor how to get the transcript sent. The school has to send it.

Try brushing up on basic writing skills.
Apply 4 year college liberally to affected areas, at least once per day. ROTFLMAO!!!
Seriously, not to be mean, If you're going to college, you really need to break yourself of the habit of writing like that if you want your professors to take you seriously. Good luck!
