"All work and no play..."
"Makes for a good boy, I know Mom." Alexander sighed with impatience as his mother inspected his handiwork on the kitchen floors and sparkling dishes in the cabinets.
"All right, Alexander the Great, you may go to the movies. But be back by 8:30 sharp. You have to go to bed at exactly 9:00 tonight."
"Fine, Mom. Can I go now?"
"Yes dear."

Alexander raced to his room, changed his clothes quickly, and leapt out of the bedroom window. He didn't want his mother to see the clothing choices he had made. He had to hurry, or he wouldn't be able to get into the rock concert he had bought tickets for in time.

With a minute to spare, he jammed his hand into his pocket, and grabbed his ticket. Gasping, he said to the security guard,
"Here's my ticket. let me in, please."
The guard grunted and opened the door.

All work and no play is a complete and utter waste of one's existence! What fulfillment can one find in life without seeking some sort of pleasure... some sort of gratification? What reward for our toils might we then seek if we know not but endless servitude to some thankless cause? What then pray-tell? Madness! Despair!

*bows* and walks off stage to a thunderous applause and a 10 point reward (I hope)

wears you down a little bit each day... Okay, I can live with that... I'm all about the work-life balance.
