There are many good restaraunts in Tampa. The CheeseCake Factory is one... it's in International Plaza. The Blue Martini is a good bar, also in International Plaza. Jimbo's BBQ on Kennedy is the best BBQ in town. Ruth Chris' Steak House on West Shore Blvd.( but $$$). The Melting Pot on N. Dale Mabry($$$). The Ranch House on Gandy Blvd. Wright's Deli on N Dale Mabry is a great sandwich shop. The Galley on West Shore for pizza and wings. If you go to Busch Gardens, eat at The Crown Colony Restaurant. The Castaway on 60 ($$$). Those are some of my favorites. Enjoy!!!

There is only 1 choice!
Bern's Steak House.
Go to Bernsteakhouse.com and take a look.
I've been a waiter there for 11 years and I work in a private dining room.I have taken care of everyone from John Travolta to the President. We are 50 years in the game and family owned.Grow all our own veggies on our farm organically.Have the largest wine list on the planet.1,000,000 bottles of wine in our cellars going back over 200 years.Dry aged beef up to 10 weeks.Live fish swimming in our kitchen.I will personally take you on a tour of our kitchen and down in our cellar. Then you can go upstairs into a private dessert room where you can choose from over 50 homemade desserts.Have no idea what your looking to spend but don't let anything I said scare you.$50 a head is about right for a crazy amount of food and wine that will leave you with a lifelong memory.
My name is Victor and I work in the A.T. Room.
Restaurant's # is 813-251-2421
If you decide to take me up on it (and it's a no-brainer) let me know when your coming so I can be there for you.

It depends on the type of food and your budget. For seafood you can not beat the Colonnade Restaurant on Bayshore Blvd. Established in 1935 and still owned and operated by the same family at the same location. They serve only fresh seafood unlike the frozen stuff that you get from large chains. The location offers the best view in the city! Best thing is, you can get really good seafood at a reasonable price! Try the grouper or one of the various shrimp dishes.

I don't know where to eat, but I will tell you that if you go to Tampa you should so totally try to get to the Salvador Dali museum in St. Petersburg. It is phenominal - just about the greatest collections of his amazing and astonishing work.
