Why don't you try the local SPCA? I'm sure they could always use the extra help. Or you could call local vets. Who knows, it could eventually lead to a very rewarding job!

1. Help at your local shelter, call them or visit their site. Most accept 13-14 for youngest age. And range in ways to help out.
2.Help out at a theraputic horse shelter. They accept various ages. I help out at one and they have me get the horse, lead, sidewalk, and tack/groom (depending on the disorder), and feed/stalls. At the same time being with animals you also help a person less fourtunate. It's nice.
3.If you wanna pet sit I suggest asking friends families or trusted neighbors if they need you to sit a pet whlie they're gone, eitehr if its just watching or if its to feed them too if they're gone for longer then a day. My friends have done it while we were gone.
4. See if you're vet needs help. Wether if its fileing or helping with a pet. I'm sure they'll need some type of help, and will appreciate it.
Hope this helps=)

Look up rescues in your area, alot of places you must be at least 16. Try asking your local pet owners too, you could be a dog walker and earn money.

If you really want to do it for free, you can put an ad in the Giveaway section of your local paper (this section is free), and offer your pet-walking services through that.

Many shelters have an age requirement for voluteers. Your parents may have to go with you the shelter to discuss you volunteering with the organizations.
