In my school, they left me a summer-work... I need to write a novel!! They gave me some things that I need to add in the novel, but there's one that I can just not figure out: There have to be two bad people, and one of them needs to be really poor, and the other one very rich, and they have to plan a huge, evil plan (which will be the principal part of the book)... but, what plan could interest a poor person and a rich person at the same time???
THANK YOU!!, I really appreciatte that u took time to answer this!!

Thanks to everyone 4 ur answers!!! I've put some of them together to make the plan, butI just didn't know who to put as a best answer, so I'll leave it for voting.... Just 4 those interested on it, the plan will be that the rich man gets revenge from someone who did something to him in the past by taking all of his money from him (and the money is kept by the poor guy)
Thanks!!!

Hmm what does a rich man and a poor man desire at the same time. First thing that comes to mind is Love. Rich or poor love is always going to be a problem. Next is money, poor guy wants it cause he has none. Rich guy has lots and wants more. Greed is an ugly trait.

Where is this school where they let you write NOVELS as homework?!
Anyway, a plan that could interest a poor person and rich person at the same time would be, say, if the rich person were trying to get something important, and needed the skill of the poor person. The poor person would be interested because the rich person would offer him money.
Just a thought. I hope you get an A+

A plan that would interest them both would be something that makes the poor man become rich, while the rich man gets richer (probably by taking advantage of the poor man in some way). The poor man would be more of a pawn than an actual bad guy.

Why don't you have a double cross.
Like the rich man needs the poor man to help infiltrate a group to gain power. For instance, the poor man will pretend to be a part of a rival's gang, or will campaign for the opposite political candidate...the options are endless. The rich man thinks his money will buy loyalty from the poor man.
But in actuality, the poor man is scheming to dupe the rich man out of all of his money the whole time!
In the end, they both get caught. you can imagine several possibilities, again, but how about...the poor man succeeds at first, but his arrogance is his downfall, and when the rich man convinces the district attorney to spy on the poor man, the poor man confesses the whole thing to a hooker in a jacuzzi, or something.

Let's see, a plan to help both a rich man and a poor one? How about the rich man does some kind of big charity project, which helps the poorer man with a job or gives him something he needs, and the rich man feels better about himself because he did something for the greater good or good of mankind, or just helped his community, maybe by building a teen recreation center for kids to go to after school or something? Stuff like this really should be happening in the real world, maybe someone will take my hint!
Sorry, can't see how you can twist this into something evil, but just go ahead and try!

Revenge. The poor person was once rich but his family and fortune were wiped off by corrupted rich family. The rich family is into the drug trade and the poor guy knows them well but they don't know him because he was just a kid with this calamity happened.. The poor guy waited a few years, grew a beard, dyed his hair, changed his name so he could be beyond recognition. He plans to infiltrate this family by befriending the rich guys teenage son that loves to hang out at the local club. Build the story from then on.

Okay, if they both have to be bad and have a huge evil plan. Hmmmm...you don't want to have to do something that you are going to have to do super research to do.
They both want revenge on the same man (this man is extraordinarily rich, richer than the rich guy). Let's call him Hammond. Will call the rich man Thorne and the poor man Jonathan for story purposes. Thorne was in love with the Hammond's daughter as a young man. When they were 16, she rebuffed him. He attempted to rape her. Hammond found them, had Thorne beaten and did everything he could to get him blackballed from the city they lived in.
Jonathan is the really rich guy's illegitimate son from an affair he had as a young man before he got married. His father never knew he existed, but the Jonathan's mother has lied to him for years, told him that his father never wanted him, etc. So the guy has become hate-filled.
Thorne has used his money to track the poor guy down. Hammond is now running for governor and they want to stop him and destroy him. Their plan revolves around bringing the poor guy to the forefront and announcing he is his son. In addition Thorne is also angry at the daughter for rebuffing him (Jonathan is resentful because she has always been with the father), so they plan on using the poor guy to get close to her and take out some sort of revenge on her, too.

The first character is the poor man. He was once a great mafia leader but then he was betrayed by his wife and one of his loyal minions. They set him up and then ran off with his money. He was sent to prison for 25 years and when he got out he was left with nothing. A rich man befriended him welcomed him into his home and made a proposition. It was about his old wife and the man she had run off with. The proposition was that he would join this rich man to kill the two. The two had become the new leaders of the mafia and all that had been loyal to the poor man had followed them. One night some of the men kidnapped the rich man's daughter and raped and killed her. SO the rich was seeking revenge and asked the poor man to be his partner in crime. You can fill in the rest.

I think the rich person should be in trouble with the irs for not doing his taxes or something of that nature, and maybe the poor person be working for the rich person, and he's messing with his bosses family trying to blackmail them. Then somehow have them be involved in a horrific accident together where their identities are swapped by the medical staff by mistake, because their looks are similar, and their wallets were found no where close to either body, both have memory loss, and begin leading the others life once they are realeased from the hospital. Eventually once they begin recovery and return to their "lives" everyone surrounding them begins to notice that they are not the same person as they were before because they react differently towards certain things....it could work

How about the rich man has a daughter that wants to marry a man he disapproves of. So he hires the poor guy and spends money on him for new clothes, cleaning him up, and getting him a lease on a new apartment. Then he arranges for him to bump into his daughter and eventually working on trying to make her fall in love with the poor guy (who she thinks has money). I guess the evil plan would be after luring her away and getting the other guy out of her mind then he dumps her also. How does that sound...I have lots of ideas if ur interested...to much detail to type here if its not what you are looking for. Good Luck with whatever you choose!!!!!

The rich person wants power, and the poor person wants money. So the rich person could pay the poor person to help in a some sort of plot to gain power. I don't have the brain energy to think of what it might be at the moment. You should probably provide that part.
