American's are selfserving selfish and stupid...
(Im an american).......And I look around me and see nothing more than what I mentioned above...its a sad thing, and anyone who wants to oppose me if welcome to that....I wouldn't trust another american to help me with ANYTHING....unless they were in the millitary as they've been taught how to defend our country...Not just ourselves or our families...-rolls eyes-

I think that that is a generalization that is not credible, at least not anymore.
However, have you HEARD what passes for "the other point of view from the Arabs"? The Syrians and Iranis (the latter, of course, are not Arabs) are denying culpability. Hezbollah, Iran and Hamas have all, at one time or another, wanted to "wipe Israel from the map." So-called martyrs are celebrated. Terrorist "statements" are made by suicide bombers blowing up buses. Palestinians want peace or rights, get the Gaza Strip and then continue to provoke (some might say "attack") Israel with rockets and kidnappings.
This is another point of view?
My question is, when can we expect legitimate, informed discussion from the Arab world? I'd be happy to listen.
The story is NOT one-sided. But the gibberish I hear from the other side makes it difficult NOT to side with Israel.

Besides the fact that you're wrong, and a lot of Americans do listen to the Arab's point of view, it's hard to side with someone who is so clearly the instigator. Whether or not Israel has reacted disproportionately, no one can deny this was started by Hamas and Hezbollah.

Two reasons:
(1) One of the most influential lobbying groups in the United States works on behalf of Israel and the Jewish people.
(2) Erroneous propoganda spread in the U.S. with regard to arabic nations, their religion, their culture and society ... etc.

If the arabs will return the soldiers they kidnapped Israel will stop fighting you.
Do you know who is Bin-Laden? Do you listen to what Iran's president saying every day? USA know that if someone will do something bad it will be the muslim terror.

I don't know where you get that idea. There are many people in this country (we call them liberals) who think it is perfectly ok to cross someones border and abduct their people.
