Please post an answer that is truthfull. I would like to know what people think and why. I will not discriminate. I do ask of one thing though, try to have an open mind, not barred by religous beliefs, but based on scientific analysis.

Many scientists, docs and researchers have a god-like complicated. as a results of fact they won't be able to stay away from and therapy the ailments we already have and be afflicted by, they sense the could desire to come again up with innovating concepts to make a attractiveness for themselves. Cloning? isn't it God's interest to create life? the place will this lead and the place will it end? Stem cellular examine? Take an ingredient to a created individual and use it to help out an unwell human. the place could this lead and the place could it end? Genetic Engineering? Engineering is the observe that throws me right here. i'm against all 3 and no i does no longer partake in any of them in spite of if i mandatory a heart. Embryonic stem cellular is repulsive to me and the day will come whilst they'll pay women human beings to get pregnant as a results of fact there are not sufficient embryonic stem cells to bypass around. guy abuses each and every thing!

I am absolutely in support of genetic engineering. No one has serious ethical reservations about giving someone eyeglasses or respirators to help make up for what nature deprived them. I fail to see how genetic solutions to these problems are any different than mechanical solutions- it's just using a different set of tools to better solve the same problem. Of course, I may not support the specific genetic techniques used (if there was a high risk of side effects, for example), but the general idea of changing the genetic structure of things for the better seems fine by me.

As for embryonic stem cell research, I believe it has enormous potential for doing good. Though I have moral reservations concerning abortion, I believe that existing stem cells should be used rather than simply discarded. Even if the means of attaining those cells were immoral, it makes no sense to deprive ourselves of SOME moral use for them.

I don't seriously consider the danger of embryonic stem cells being "manufactured" solely for the purposes of research. As long as there are legal abortions (or even illegal for that matter), there will be an abundance of stem cells on the market.

To turn the issue into a fight over abortion does not make sense to me. Ultimately, that issue comes down to whether or not we recognize the embryo as a human being with human rights. If society sees the embryo as a human life, no research benefit can justify violating those rights. If society does NOT see the embryo as human life, even if society is incorrect, we should at least see to it that something good comes from that bad decision.

I believe it would be beneficial to the human race. We shouldn't let religion get in the way of 5 day old cells. It's pointless. Should women be shunned for causing a miscarriage by not being caref ul? I don't see what the big deal is. Stem cells can help so much.

I have absolutely nothing against it and am 100% for it! I am a juvenile diabetic, and have been for 16 years. Stem Cell research pretty much guarantees me a cure. Yeah, it's worth it.

it is a cool little trinket taht ppl can do BUT it harms the mother because they have to get inside a woman and take the egg out while she is ovulating. most people think this is taking Gods work away but i think that God maybe mad at this but we arn't gunna end up with just artificial incemination.

I think it can be used for both good and bad. Its all a matter of the brains behind the science.
