See your family physician. There are side effects with patches, as with any medication. If you are presently taking a medication for a health condition, there may be side effects. So, first and foremost, check with your doctor and Good luck.

You should really see a Dr. before going out to a drugstore like Eckerd's or Walmart, because depending on how much you smoke a day, the Dr. might be able to give you something else for quitting, the patches cost alot, the gum I'm not sure...

You can get them at any drug store, walmart ,kroger. I would go to your Dr so he can make sure you have no medical conditions that might interfere with the patch. My mom got really sick off of the nicotine patch because some of the medicine she was on. Good luck to you!

any local drug store will have them in the back by the pharmacy - Good Luck - I just quit myself. The patches help alot.
