Actually, I sense a greater measure of sadness, regret, frustration and loss in your writing than say, anger – and perhaps rightfully so, since anger should have been directed at the abuser and his silent codependent accomplice, while they were still "alive". …..That's the irony of life, we usually find (and sometimes palpably lose) our angels at moments least expected. ..... Now is a time of healing for you and what is left of your family - don't let a handful of dust continue haunting you and your precious ones from beyond the grave too, anymore than the appalling living actions of their long-putrefied former occupants already have (given of course, they were truly guilty as charged and not merely victim's of some wild "hypnotic regression exercise"). … Make it so that in time this too can pass and be absolved and replaced by the love, the compassion and the goodness that still remains. I am sure the angel that lingers beyond the divorce (and would never die within all of you) still wants nothing more than to see you and your/her family finally find the inner peace that she herself apparently deems so elusive. Think of it as a most precious and meaningful gift to her – and who knows, if your heart is pure enough, you might even be able to reencounter your angel again someday; if only as a truly cherished friend this time.

I am going to share this poem with my neice. She was abused by her grandfather, She is 16 years old and pregant with her 2 child. Her mother and father did not file any charges but moved her next door to this monster. Now, wonder why. You love your wife very much, and yes you can hear the anger in your words. There is no reason for this to happen, much less someone knowing about it, and not stopping it. This hurts us all. God be with you and may he bless you...

Yes, but one must not live or dwell in the past, but move on and know that life is or will be better.
As we can't change the past only make it a brighter future :)

Hurt mostly, lots of pain, fear. Also anger, but not as much. And it's "rot" not "wrot"
