You have to have a couple of hundred dollars and you can file to have it dissolved. I think they will run an ad in the paper and if your wife does not contest it or show up on the court date it can be dissolved. Sorry but I dont think there is a free way to do it, because someone who files the papers has to get paid.

Family services can put you in touch with people who will tell you what motions to file and help you fill out the forms. Most family court houses have an area where people can get help and ask questions. You can also get a book at a book store or check one out at the library that will tell you how to file for divorce or disolution. There will be filing fees and fees for service of legal papers on your wife. If she can not be located, there is a process for "making a resonable attempt" to serve her. Divorces, in most states, are fairly cut and dried and the court generally follows established rules on custody, child support, and spousal support. There are very few "tricks" or "loop holes" and the judges normally protect the rights of both parties as related to divorce codes. In many cases, people end up paying attorneys huge sums of money to fill out forms.
I am not an attorney. My information is from past experience.

File. Fill out the papers yourself. Serve her with the papers. If she does not respond within 30(?) days (varies from state to state) you can request a summary judgment.
Your local public library probably has books that will help you figure out the paperwork. You will still need to come up with some money (perhaps as much a a few hundred) to file.

Well you should try to look for the proceedings of divorce and the papers that are required on your country's government website. It takes a lot of researching, but is probably worth since lawyers are expensive. Anyways good luck with that!

Try your local legal aid society. They can give you some good advice. Also, there are usually legal clinics where lawyers donate their time to help people out. Check your yellow pages or maybe on line for places in your area. Good luck!

Your welfare system in your state should be able to help you. You do need to get some legal advice. Call the welfare department, and ask for some assistence. Tell them what is going on, and maybe they can help you find a job, and daycare for when you are working. You have been handed alot, but you can do this and you can do this well, but first you got to ask for help. So, please ask your family and the state. God be with you and bless you.

If you are unemployed or even working but at a low wage, you should be able to get legal aid from your state.
