I think it's a big flop and our soilders are dying for no reason. It's way past time for them to come home.

Simply stated...Iraq was in viloation of the UN resolution, by failing to allow UN inspectors full access to all of it weapons facilities. It has been proven that several UN members were accepting bribes and kick-backs from Iraq, hence their nay votes when force was brought up. So I think it is a just war. The only countries that weren't in Sadaam's back pocket are the ones that took him out of power. Mostly the USA and Britain. Should we be involved in the Civil war that is breaking out now??? Probably not, but we don't want another Sadaam destabilizing the reqion further. Now, we need to support our troops, keep a skeptical eye on the media...and the administration, and finish what we started.

I wish they would have went in there and blown the whole country to hell and let them repair it for themselves. The Muslims always talk about how much they support each other, well they could have used some of that oil money they're getting to fix up the place after we made it a landing strip.

I think it unseated an evil dictator who was raping, torturing, and killing his own people.
It's also key to the war on terror because Saddam was training and financing terrorists. One of his training camps even had a plane fuselage for practicing taking over planes. His government met several times with al Qaeda, and he was supplying bonuses to the families of suicide bombers. The world is much, much better off.

I think there is good and bad views on it. I do think that we had to do something about it especially after what happened to our country to protect it and to establish a gov. over there because of the people being oppressed. I still cant wait for our troops to come home though, but even most of them say we should finish the job

We should not have gone over in the first place. It was all based on lies by our president who I think will go down in history as one of the worst. Now that we are there we should blow the place up and get our people back home.

It isn't what most anti-war people think.
It's not all about oil, and it isn't all about religion.
Have a look at the map of the region.
Its called logistics and strategy.
It's a very, very good strategy.

I think it's better to fight the insane terrorists on their home territory, then to fight them in the streets of America.
