People now that the colonial age,

Is truly over will the world now fragment,

Into areas such as like the European and African Union,

And maybe even a south asian union, could this happen?

It's quite possible. The way Bush has been attacking the Middle East I'd say an empire is what he is striving for (whether he knows it or not). I think Europe has had their fill with empires and Africa is not quite stable enough yet, but China seems like a good bet. Their economy is growing and they certainly have the numbers for expansion. They could crush our economy easily and I don't see them having any difficulty invading neighboring countries. Even if the U.S. protests China has Russia on their side and we all know the number one rule in world domination is never ever engage Russia in a land war.

Empires exist today, under our very noses. Not addressed as such ... I would say our current administration is trying to build an empire.

Empires really never fell the went on to become the UN for the US.

empires will not come again history has taught a serious lesson to humans i think democracy will go on. you may be aware that some country in middle east is planning for democracy.
