Well,it depends on what you want from a pet.You can play with them, cuddle them and touch them. But don't expect them to be very understanding and to tolerate much shouting and screaming. They're not the most obedient of pets and you've got a great task training them. It depends on the breed but unlike dogss food is often the way to their heart,so sign up to some good restaurants or cooking lessons if you want to keep their tails wagging. You can get them dribbling without a bone, just a skimpy top will do. The only thing is you'll need a firm leash for these pets or you may just find them in someone else's bedroom.Good Luck!

Have a good look at the parents, some parents can be seen together. Take note of the mother's body language toward her offspring, some are over protective and will not allow her young to leave the nest. Avoid this breed as they do not adapt in a new home ie, become terrified off modern domestic appliances. If possible find out about past breeding performance. Avoid the highly sexed breeds as this may lead to sleepless nights worrying when he 'wanders' off and becomes lost especially in large packs of other males. You donot want a stray female turning up with unexpected offspring in tow. If this problem occurs you could consult friends and family with regards to chemical and physical castration! You could always give an older one a new home as previous owners will have done most of the essential training for you. Research your choice of 'man' carefully the right one will be with you life not just for christmas!

I suppose they can be...so long as they have been trained properly!
Ive yet got to master this training a man...seems the ones ive met have already picked alot of bad habits up or just arent loyal!
Hopefully, if i rehome another, it will understand basic commands like sit, stay, lie down.....and a whole lot more.....definately make sure he was loyal & trustworthy!!
Im sure if we could train them properly they would be better pets than the average...

yes as long as you can shut them in the garden when they start winging which would mean that they are a out door pet . Rember not to take them out they will only show you up and don't think for one minite that any thing will ever get done when they are in because you have to run around after them all the time.

Only domesticated ones. Try to remember that some men are really wild animals, and are not suitable to keep as pets, or around small children.

Personally, yes. I have been "petted" by my girlfriend, but something is wrong, she always pees behind tires, scratching his hair, and some stupid things dogs do. I don't know what the hell that means but I am a good pet and I always obey her. ^^
