Bush to Putin: I gotta leave by 2:15. They want me out of town so they can free up your security forces.

No, just going to make it up. I'm not going to talk too long like the rest of them. Some of these guys talk too long.

Gotta go home. Got something to do tonight. How about you? Where are you going home? This is your neighborhood doesn't take you long to get home.

You eight hours? Me too. Russia’s a big country and you’re a big country. Takes him eight hours to fly home. Not Coke, diet Coke. Russia’s big and so is China.

Yo, Blair. What are you doing? Are you leaving?

Blair: No, not yet. On this trade thing…

I don't think he is an idiot. It's just the way he express himself sometimes that sounds funny to me.

Bush is always swearing about one thing or another. For a "good Bible believing Christian" the Prez has a really dirty mouth and mind. As to the overheard conversation, he and his close buddies probably greet each other with "yo dog, wassup?" They just haven't caught that on videotape yet!

I read the transcript....what's so awful about it? How does it make Bush look like an idiot. I don't get your point.

Bush calls 'em like he sees 'em. I was torn between who to vote for when he ran the first time-I mean right up till the end. Then I heard his comment about the reporter being a "real a$$hole" and that cemented it for me.

Bush cussed, Big deal. He is a human. He didn't know the mic was on (any reporter or broadcaster with integrity would not allow anything like that to air. For one thing, there are legal ramifications of recording or broadcasting some one without consent and knowledge.) But then again, when it comes to trying to make Bush look bad, it's anything goes, right?

I still don't see how this makes him look bad. "Splain it to me.

I'm not that sensitive, so a little swearing doesn't bother me. And it doesn't really surprise me that Bush- or anyone for that matter- would have strong feelings regarding the conflict in the Middle East. I don't seriously think President Bush is the only world leader to have ever uttered a bad word.

Much ado about nothing, in my opinion.

Finally saw this. Nice to know our leaders talk frankly with each other.

What I find funny is he was talking about actually using deplomacy and everyone passes that up and jumps on one word. If you had actually listened they were discussing various ways to help end the conflict right now. But I guess that makes no difference because Bush can do no right.

No big deal. He is a person like everyone else. Not everyone can be as "refined" 24/7 as those loons on the left. He has to be as frustrated as anybody else in this world.

I am no Bush fan, but be fair. What he said was, "Syria needs to get Hezbolla (sp) to cut this **** out."

George, for one of the first times since I've met you, I agree.
