I have a question,
How did you get blood stains in the trunk of your car?
Especially ones that are large?
Blood stains so you may have to get some new carpet in the trunk or you could get a rug or something to put over it.

I'm gonna pretend you spilled your own blood sample.
Soak or rub washable fabric with cold water until the stain is almost gone, then wash with warm water and a detergent. To old or stubborn stains apply a few drops of ammonia and wash again with detergent. On nonwashable fabric, sponge the stain with cold or lukewarm water. Sponging with a little hydrogen peroxide* will usually remove any fianl traces of the stain. If not, use a chlorine bleach*, depending on the material. Blood stains that have been set by heat are very difficult if not impossible to remove, but on cottons and linens, a warm solution of trisodium phosphate will usually remove such stains.

I hate when this happens too. If the body is still in the trunk, you have to first siphon the blood out of the body, otherwise, it will leak even more as you remove it. Be sure to remove the carpet and burn it completely. Then wipe the trunk down with water and ammonia.
Next time, carry the deer on the hood/roof instead of in the trunk.

Forgot the drop cloth huh?
If this is just for cosmetics purposes use carpet and upholstery cleaner. First, remove and residual blood and blot the area dry. Remember to start scrubbing at the edges and work your way into the middle.
If you are likely to be interviewed as a suspect remove the carpet all together, destroy appropriately. Clean under the carpet with bleach, don't be shy. After it dries spread around dirt and rub it in uniformly to remove that "just cleaned look" Have a non-related acquaintance rent an identical make and color car then remove the carpeting and install in yours.
Home free.

Honestly the best approach is to torch the car to burn out as much evidence as you can... if this is not an option then start out by pulling out any carpets or anything linings that arent metal. Then start cleaning up as much as you can with rags (to be burned afterwords) . . after you get most of the mess up start spraying cleaner like 409 & wipe it up even better . .by this time it will look clean.. BUT IT ISNT. Dump bleach (more the better) everywhere . . be sure to get it in as many cracks & nooks as you can find (unless you wanna end up in jail).... after it is clean take all the bloody items & burn them & MAKE SURE IT IS DONE ... ashes is all you should have left. Once this is done go back to the car & reconsider burning it. The only way to properly destroy the evidence is to torch the homie hauler. Anyways . . good luck on the murder. I hope you get away with it.

Take out the current appolstery, bleach down the whole trunk, powerwash out the bleach, let dry and insert new appolstery. Then vacuum and don't forget to wash all fingerprints from the outside and check for stray hairs! Well, that proves I watch too much CSI

one, never put a body in the trunk unless it's a stolen car. amateur. but since rule one was beyond your grasp, remove the carpeting from your trunk. burn it. pour gas on the ashes, and burn them again. take heavy house hold cleaners and lots of ammonia and clean out your trunk. have new speakers or sub woofers installed in your trunk, the have it reupholstered. new speakers and an alibi for ripping out old carpet. in the future please just hire a professional.

you probably should burn the car out and dump it
personally I always put a disposable piece of plastic or tarpaulin down in the trunk - with a good hosing of soapy water you can even reuse it and its often useful to wrap things in before you dump them

Cut out the "affected" carpet, burn in a metal trashcan, clean surface that was under the carpet with ammonia (Cannot get a dna sample once ammonia has been applied) then recarpet as you wish. (It may be a good idea to clean the trashcan with ammonia as well).
