It may be that you have a condition that is impeding your ability to get pregnant. I would check with a gynocologist. I think I would want to know what is really happening with my body. I had fibroids. I had unprotected sex for years and never once conceived a child. It turned out that since I never went to get help or consultation for the condition that I did have (fibroids in my uterous) I had to have a hysterectomy. Now I'm 44 years old and will never have the ability to have a child. It was a hard thing to accept. I think I would have been a great mom. I went though some serious grieving over this. I vote you go get a consultation because of there is a condition that is treatable, the earlier you get it checked out the better.

I'd find an OBGYN you are comfortable with enough that you'd feel free to go and discuss every detail of trying to get pregnant with. They can help you a lot with these kinds of things. Make sure your weight is in a healthy range and you're not too thin, that's a big cause of losing your period without being pregnant, but there's a million other things that could be happening too. Trust me, once you find a doc that you like, you'll feel a lot more comfortable and secure about this whole thing and know what's going on. :)

Talk to your doctor. Have him/her do a test. Sometimes when you progress far enough into a pregnancy, an over the counter test will show up negative because the hormone levels that are used to initially detect a pregnancy in the early stages will drop later in the pregnancy. Be sure to have your doc do a test to be certain. In those first few months, prenatal care is essential. (I'm not in the health care profession, but a friend had a similar experience.) Best wishes.

If you haven't had a period in that long, and the test is negative, you should see a doctor. You might be pregnant and not producing enough of the "pregnancy" hormone. You might have another condition that only a doctor and tests could tell you about. Play it safe. See the doc. Also, if you really want a baby, it's always good to make sure that everything is in working order before really trying to get pregnant.

If you haven't had a period in five months you would know that you were pregnant. If it isn't pregnancy then there is a medical reason and you absolutely should be checked out by a doctor. Even if you are pregnant, you need prenatal care to have a healthy baby.

do you have any type of eating disorder? many women cannot have a child if they have had a eating disorder that went out of control. have you ever had any type OR do you now have any type of sexually transmitted diseases? some, if not treated quickly, may scar your ovaries which prevent you from being impregnated. the best thing you can do is go to your doctor and have a pap. it will be uncomfortable for a bit, but they can find why it is that you have not gotten pregnant yet, and treat something that might be there.

If you have not had a period since Feb, and it is July, I would say you need to go to the doctor because those test are not always accurate. There are a lot of reasons why your period can stop; with child, stress etc. As you can see, you really need to go to the Doctor and check that out. God Bless and if you are with child, Congratulations in advance

Go to a doctor and get a blood test. The box tests can be accurate, but a blood test is certain.
