Try going to microsoft.com and then search it there, you should'nt have problems getting a Live Messenger 8 (I think it's the same on MSN messenger).

go on google or yahoo.com
type in old msn messenger and search for it,
a website comes up saying oldmessngers or sumthing like that,
click on which verison u want
and there u go!
