It depends on why you are nervous. If it is because of some stressful situation, when it ends, nervousness will end. Try to avoid these situations. If it is from birth, then seek medical help. Being nervous is almost common. Being excessively nervous, has to be looked into by a doctor.

Deep breathing exercises, keeping your mind off of it, mind over matter, or you could just take my Grandmother's advice, "a little nerves make you concentrate and then do your best"

the b vitamins are good for calming nervous people. talk to your pharmacist about them.
