What are the average living expenses like for a student in Lausanne, Switzerland ?

I don't know the student fees - but the cheapest way to live would be to rent a room. The monthly rental costs would be CHF 600 the least. Probably you'd like some seaon ticket for public transport (perhaps CHF 50 per month), the health insurance costs around CHF 200 a month (not compulsory for students) and food depends on your standard and the amount of times you'd like to go out.

The minimum should be CHF 1200 a month without the school fees - at least that's my opinion as a Swiss living in Switzerland...
