An ever-increasing detest is proclaimed for P. Bush. While I understand the validity, I'm still left wondering why the heck was he re-elected. Honestly, the was foreseeable.
How 'bout taking stride to better the worse instead of tossing peer-influenced opinions all about? It's accomplishing nothing but a mob of headless chickens.

Ok? so I can only limit myself to six-letter words or less? How does my use of language determine my intelligence or understanding of an issue? I'd be just as scrutinized if I'd come off as an airhead. I think you're avoiding the point Wanda. But I thank you for the input.

Ok. It wasn't my intent to seem angry. I'm wondering why there is such a harshness toward Bush. And since when has politicians dealing with world events not included our personal lives??

As you can see by some of your answers, these are the types of people who would vote for GW. They are not very literate, they don't understand intellectuals, and they believed the "family values" lie that GW presented. This country has a lot of christians, especially in the south, who think that GW is on their side. But that's just another lie. What they don't get is that GW (and most politicians) are only interested in helping the richest 5% while everyone else gets screwed. Our education and healthcare systems are going downhill, gas prices are over-inflated, wages haven't kept up with inflation and rising housing costs... This country is becoming a disaster area for everyone except the ultra-rich. They are making out like bandits while our soldiers are being blown to pieces in Iraq... and for what? Saddam had NOTHING TO DO with 911 and NO nuclear weapons. And, by the way, it's pronounced Nuclear not Nookyooler.

There are 3 types of people in the World:

1. Those who make things happen,
2. Those who watch things happen,
3. And Those who Wonder What happened...

You should Wonder up a time machine and go back to the day Bush was re-elected, then count the strides you've taken to answer why?

Hint: He's not type 3 or 2.

Ignorance breeds ignorance. Ever heard of computers? Ever heard of embezzlement? Ever heard of the last election that was completely digital compared to any other election in history. I wonder why that was? Oh yeah, wait because in the election prior to the last one (you know, the other close call), old people had a hard time "reading" their ballots. Ahm, yes, that's why.
We have the right as "so called 'free' " citizens of this country to protest what we think is wrong. And honey, there is SO much wrong. In order to make things right, we must get over the patch of denial. People who do not try to understand what is really going on and instead sitting around in their high (La-Z-Boy) chairs being spoon fed false media from "Fox News" or "CNN" or whatever they can find on their cable TV while flipping through their favorite escapist shows like "Lost" and "American Idol".
Yeah, wake up lady. We're in a time of crisis. You'll realize this when your air conditioning stops working and instead you'll be sweating in line at the hospital.

While you might think along the lines of those that tend to trash President Bush, there are others that praise him. I think the way you stated the question in order to show off your vocabulary is just another thing that those who dont really know do to pretend that they really do know. Although a great vocabulary can be a good thing to have, it is worthless if it stops you from communicating.
My theory on Bush: When it was time to CowboyUp, he did. Good job, sir.

What's going on here?

You are asking a stupid question. That is what's going on. I am guessing you are liberal because your question sounds angry. That is why I could never be a liberal. Most of the U.S. enjoys a GREAT LIFE. What is there to complain and get angry about. Let the politicians you elect worry about world events and you worry about what you need to better your life and your loved one's lives.

He was re-elected because a majority of Americans who bothered to vote wanted him as their president. That's how it works in this country. Get over it!

Because Kerry couldn't make up his mind on any issue, he just tried to make everyone happy which is impossible, besides, Bush gives more interesting speeches.

Because people were consumed by fear and propaganda from republicans of another terror attack and anti-gay marriage.. I assume white middle-class protestants would rather have a dumba$$ for a president than gay marriage.
