I am pretty sure that I want to pursue med-school. I am wrestling with the way that some things need to work out. In order to make a couple of decisions I need to know exactly what is required of me to go to med school. I would also like to know any little tidbits of information that would pertain to what med-schools typically prefer in a prospective student. Can anyone help me out?

It really depends on the med school. You will need to take the MCAT and probably have a Bachelors degree in something. Most schools require that you have a year of undergraduate biology, chemistry, organic chemistry and physics. Others require calculus and biochemistry classes but it varies from school to school.

Of course the actual requirements will vary from school to school, but you'll basically need a 4 year degree (Bachelor's) first with an emphasis in pre-med (sciences). And you'll need good grades to get into a decent med school! And lastly, you'll need to take the MCAT, which is the medical school aptitude test--similar to an SAT for undergraduate studies.

Well first before med school you have to attend a 4 year university and get a degree in either Biology or Chemistry...this requires a lot of work. From there you need to keep you GPA above 3.5. Then after you graduate it all depends on what med school you are wanting to go to. My friend attended one in the Caribbean and it was a whole lot cheaper and easier to get into. each school has certain requirements that they want their students to have you just have to do some research. Hope that this helps

A prerequiste is a few thing you may want to take before taking the subsequent class. get mutually: Algebra a million is a prerequisite to Algebra 2. a million year may be 2 semesters in college. like the autumn and then the spring. So in order to get into med college, you should have taken 2 semesters of biology/zoology, 2 of inorganic chem, 2 of organic and organic chem, and a pair of of physics. good success!
