I called my advice nurse yesterday about something I can take, and she prescribed Reglan. Talk to your doctor about it.

I had morning sickness but it wasnt to bad. I noticed that at the stores in the baby section there was something called pregnantpops that were suppose to help with morning sickness...I didnt try them so Im not sure how well they work but you may be able to try them. Also I know you said that you cant hold down crackers but the say you should keep crackers beside your bed with a bottle of water. When you first wake up eat a few crackers and still lay there for about about 20mins also take sips of the water and they say it can help. Also if you dont want to try the crackers you still shouldnt just jump out of bed always lay there for a few mins. If your on medication I would ask my doctor if it could be making it worse and see if I could try a different type of medication. Hopefully the morning sickness will be over soon for you. Good luck

I've been through this 4 times now and the best thing I did was to drink a small glass of milk before I put anything else in my stomach. Milk coats the stomach and helps with the sickness AND heartburn. Other than that, I ate a-lot of plain rice with different things mixed in. You need to eat bland foods that are heavy. the heavier the food, the harder for your body to get rid of it. Crackers are ok if you eat them BEFORE you get out of bed in the morning but are pretty useless the rest of the day. Stay away from spicy food. That will make it worse. even pizza. Try drinking bottled water instead of tap water. Previcid is useless because it takes time to dissolve. Go get Mylanta (liquid). It works much faster and is safe. Other than that, I'd suggest drinking more molk in small amounts and see if that helps. Do not do it and then go out in the heat though. It will curdle on your stomach and dehydrate you. stay in for an hour or so after you drink it.
Hope this helped. Oh, stay away from salty stuff too. That will really make you sick.

Poor thing! I can relate. I was sick all day everyday until delivery with all 3 of my children. Some people have a rougher time with morning sickness than others. If apples is what you can tolerate...eat plenty of them. Find what ever you can keep down and make that your diet. I lived on mashed potatoes with my first child. Keep something in your system or you'll end up in the hospital taking IV fluids because you are dehydrated. (been there). Just remember, it'll be over soon.

I can relate as I was sick every hour of every day. I did two things... as soon as the urge came on, I put my head between my knees until I was sure I wasn't going to puke. As soon as I could stand up, I would eat celery... lots of it (and don't skip the leaves). I put a little salt, and that always did the trick. I would always have a tupperware full of them no matter where I went (a car ride was sure to get me sick). Give it a try. It worked for me with my first pregnancy and now with my second. If all else fails... you know it'll be over in a few months.
Definitely get off the meds. They're not good for the baby.

My doctor recommended "EMETROL" an over the counter syrup for morning sickness.
consult with your doctor.
Oh yeah prevacid, is a big NO NO you will get heart burn during your pregnancy regardless. I was on acne medication and I started throwing up before i knew i was pregnant, and actually at that point I believe it was about a week after implantation, so your body is telling you that it doesnt want the medication, it is very dangerous

I had hyperemesis, which translates to excessive vomiting. This went on for 5 months and I had to go to the hospital several times dehydrated. I found a few things helped w/ help of Dr. He gave me phenegran, which I took two days and that helped ease the continual vomiting, then I at light things several times a day. I found cucumbers and vinegar helped too something about the vinegar!

Be sure to keep a little something on your tummy at all times. If you don't let your tummy get empty, you're less likely to get sick. Eating protein foods may help you as well. Ginger or peppermint might help you also. Both can be very soothing for nausea. And be sure to stay hydrated in this hot weather!

I hope you are drinking plenty of water with electrolyte, so you do not become dehydrated which is dangerous for th baby. Believe it or not, try peanut butter on your apple. Morning sickness while pregnant isn't the same as nausea. Your body is lacking protein and that is why you are sick.

Try watermelon, it worked for me and all that water keeps you hydrated, lemonade helped too. I never tried it, but I heard that seasickness bands help. Dramamine sometimes heped, also try peppermint. Don't worry, you'll get over it. I lived on dry Rice Krispies and OJ for 2 weeks.
