I know, it the historical/moral/religious home, but wouldn't the world better off without an Israel in the middle east ? I'm in Canada, I like jewish people - give them all of Saskatchewan or Nova Scotia, perhaps Quebec ? It would do wonders for our economy AND for world peace.
I know it's a VERY simplistic solution, but...

How would they win ? They'd lose the most important economic power of the region. They'd somehow have to prove that they can get along with each other WITHOUT a common enemy as a neighbour. Jewish people could sleep in peace for the first time (believe me, it's peaceful in Saskatchewan). There will NEVER be peace in the Middle East unless there is an extreme solution - mine is the most peaceful.

Panacea - you have been brainwashed by your countries ideology. How come 160 countries in the world vote to sanction Israel at times and only 5-7 are against it, the U.S. and some of its dependents.
In the middle east NOTHING is as black and white as you see it. Violence only creates more of it. Looks how your intervention helped Afghanistan and Iraq ?!

LOL. Not Quebec -- the current inhabitants are rather possessive about the place. But Saskatchewan or Idaho might work nicely.

I've got a better idea. Why not kill every single person in the middle east who threatens Israel. That's a far more reasonable solution then asking an extremely powerful, soveriegn, nuclear power to pick up and leave in response to intractible aggression from a much weaker enemy, especially one you repeatedly attempt to make peace with.
There is no "conflict" in the middle east. Only Israel defending itself from attack against an aggressor. The appropriate response to that is war. Which is, of course, what the jews are finally doing.
If it takes killing every last one of the enemy to bring peace to the region, than, that's what you do. It's the muslims fault, not the jews. The very second they want peace, all they have to do is stop attacking.

The USSR had a spot picked out in the Siberian wastes. Jews who had a choice said no. The truth is the Israel is where God had given land to the Jews thousands of years ago. They deserve that land and have developed it well despite terrorism and war. Besides, not even Jews care about Canada.

I think it is an excellent idea. They would be able to use their resourses and make it the greatest country in the world because they wouldn't have to pressure of having to fight enemies all day. I am sure they would use the time to invent cures for diseases.
