It could be your period. Do you have an adult (parent, friend, sibling, relative) that you can talk to about this? You really should find someone to talk to so you can put your mind at ease. First periods are unpredictable. Congrats to you if it is your first one!

You sound fine. You may very well started to have your period. What you described is typical for the first time. Why don't you talk to your mother or other family member that you can trust. If there is no one in your family perhaps another girl friend's mother.

Sounds as if you have. Do you live with your mother? Be sure to talk with her about it. If not, contact a close adult female relative and discuss it. Even though you may be embarrassed, your parent(s) need to know. They will need to provide you with supplies and also understand that family plans may need a little altering now, in case you don't feel the best.

yeah sounds to me like you are now a woman congrats on that. you are okay when i started my period it was the same as you a bit of blood one morning no more for almost a month then all of a sudden i was bleeding like crazy. so think of this as a warning to have pads on hand in around a month.

For me, the first day starts out a little heavy, then almost stops. The second and third days are heavier, then starts to taper off the 4th day.
You sound perfectly normal.

Generally speaking, women with a low body fat percent start their periods later than other girls. Your period will also be very abnormal for the first few months of menstruation. PLEASE be aware that even though you may have not had your first full period, you are still capable of conceiving a child. please make sure, if it applies, that you are taking all necessary precautions.
