i worked in a shop for 4 years the mechanics don't get certified the shop does unless your thinking of Ase type certification which means almost nothing as you can buy the answers study them get 2 years working at a shop and your in

YOU CAN GO TO ANY SECRATARY OF STATE AND TAKE THE TEST. THEY COST SIX DOLLARS EACH. I CAN'T REMEMBER IF THEY ACTUALLY HAVE ONE FOR SMALL ENGINES BUT YOU COULD GO ONLINE TO THEIR WEBSITE AND CHECK. IT IS TRUE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE CERTIFIED TO WORK ON THEM AND GET PAID FOR IT.

You dont need to be certified. . . just pick your nose & be a dumb ***... small engines . . shiottt ***** . .aint no money in that.
