Im not well educated on the subject, but I just dont understand why, from a 3rd party perspective, it seems like anytime Israel wants something, it gets it. And when they want war, they are not repremanded for it.

Israel always gets its way due to the fact:
a. America gets is weapons bulit by Israel.
b. Israel is an ally of the Americans
c. It is Americas stronghold in the Middle East.

That is not historically true, for one thing. There is a good book, although fiction, has lots of historical facts...."Exodus". You might read it for a less biased background on the formation of Israel.
In the present, Israel has created a Palestinian state, when the Arab nations would not. Why do you think there are Palestinian refugees anyway? Because the Arab countries wouldn't help their own brothers.
Israel isn't always right, not by a long shot. Just get the facts straight.

they want war? you are right about not being educated on the subject let me help you out. Hezbollah which is a part of the Lebanese government went across the border into Israel and killed 7 Israeli soldiers and kidnapped 2 soldiers so they brought this upon themself. So Israel did not ask for this maybe you got a little smarter but Im not going to hold my breath.

Israel has never gotten its way since the state was re-established in 1948. If they had their way, they wouldn't face constant terrorist attacks from their neighbors. They don't really want war; no one who knows the subject claims that Israel instigated this latest round of violence. But at the same time, they're not afraid of war, and they would rather go to war and beat Hezbollah now than sit around while Hezbollah kidnaps their people and sends rockets into their cities. They're not blameless, and they are being reprimanded internationally for their part in the escalation, but they're hardly at fault.

Israel didt not "want" the current conflict. Read the news, and be informed. since 1948, the arab (muslim) countries have tried to bring about the total destruction of the "zionist" state.
As for getting anything they want, do you think they wanted to withdraw from Gaza? I doubt it.
For years, Palestinians have been lobbing rockets into Israel and blowing themselves up, killing civilians and innocents. Israel has been defending itself form these attacks for many years, and the Palestinians have finally puched a little too hard this time.

Israel always gets its way because they are in complete control of the U.S. and the stupid burned out U.S. Christians put them in that position. Israel now has the power of this country at there disposal. They think they are their gods chosen to destroy man and that's just what they are doing, They are the Christians masters and they will destroy the fools right along with everyone else.

They don't want war. They want to live in peace. It was Hezbellah that started all this. Before you post a question like this, RESEARCH the subject. Hezbellah wants to destroy the country of Israel. It's in their charter. Israel has NEVER started a war. They've taken steps to defend themselves against those that would harm them.

Israel's actions are defensive, they attack only after being attacked. The situation in Lebanon is no different, only a little sadder because the Lebanese government has no control over what is happening and diplomacy is that much more difficult.
